SUSAN GIAMPAPA, LCSW
Susan graduated with a BNS from The University of Virginia in 1978 and is a Registered Nurse. She obtained her Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University in 1999 and currently holds an LCSW in both PA and NJ.
Susan is experienced in working with many psychological disorders; however, her specialty areas are working with couples, families, and groups. She provides parent training and co-parenting skills.
Susan has advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has an additional Drug and Alcohol Certification and is able to provide assessment and recovery for those suffering from various forms of addiction.
Susan’s therapeutic style is relaxed, attentive, but also active and playful. She uses a variety of modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Susan is organizing DBT skills groups for those needing help with emotional regulation. Groups are currently forming and appointments are currently being scheduled for potential group members. ANDREA GENELLO, M.S.
PSYCHOLGY DOCTORAL CANDITATE/PSYCHOLOGY INTERN
Andrea has joined Dr. Cynthia Edwards-Hawver and Associates as a Psychology Intern as she completes her Psy.D at Marywood University. She obtained her M.A. in Psychology from Marywood University in 2017 and she completed her Bachelor of Science In Biology with a concentration in Nutritional Studies from The University of Scranton.
Andrea has worked at the Psychological Service Center and Counseling Center at Marywood University. She is well trained in psychological assessment and will be assisting Dr. Edwards-Hawver with psychological testing. Andrea also has experience working in therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She receives weekly supervision with Dr. Edwards-Hawver in addition to group supervision. It is a pleasure to welcome Andrea to our practice.
JUSTINE BENESKI, MA, NCC
Justine is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Marywood University. Justine attended Wilkes University for her undergraduate education and earned a B.A. in Psychology.
Justine has provided counseling for children and their families in the home, community, and school based settings, as well as adults in a college counseling setting for her internship at Keystone College.
Justine frequently works with children and adolescents and has experience counseling school behavioral issues, anxiety, relational issues, self-esteem, assertiveness, coping skills, and trauma. Her eclectic approach encompasses a person-centered method which allows the client to choose the focus and direction of therapy.
Justine receives weekly individual supervision and biweekly group supervision with Dr. Cynthia Edwards-Hawver. All therapists at Dr. Cynthia Edwards-Hawver and Associates complete group trainings in various topics over the year to be current and up to date in the ever changing field of psychology.

TRACY DI MATTIA, LSW
Tracy is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood University and her undergraduate degree from Cedar Crest College.
Tracy has 14 years experience as a therapist. She is experienced working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her past experiences include working as a clinical supervisor in an adolescent mental health program, a trauma specialist, and as a substance abuse counselor.
Tracy is gifted in working with parents and providing them guidance on the challenging world of parenting. Tracy is a mom herself so she understands personally and professionally the challenges of parenting. She is skilled in helping parents feel more confident, less alone, and less stressed. Her kind and compassionate demeanor will make you feel instantly at ease.
Tracy’s areas of specialty include Trauma, PTSD, and Chronic Illness(Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia, Autoimmune Disorders). Tracy has Lyme Disease and understands how much Chronic Illness can impact one’s life. Tracy also is experienced working with Grief and loss. Tracy understands first hand how difficult it is to lose a loved one, losing both of her parents tragically at a young age. She took her loss and is now using her personal experience and professional training to help others.
Tracy is an eclectic therapist, utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and humanistic therapies. Tracy utilizes a strengths-based approach to therapy, which allows her clients to build upon their positive attributes.

KELLI PETTINATO, MS, CRC
Kelli Pettinato graduated from the University of Scranton with a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling. Prior to graduate school she obtained her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting.
Kelli specializes in working with children and adolescents. She is gifted at connecting with children and making them feel comfortable instantly. She has experience in expressive arts therapy and works from a strengths-based perspective. Kelli believes in working with the whole family to help each child and adolescent she works with reach their fullest potential. Kelli has experience working in a private practice and in crisis situations. Kelli is able to work with children and adolescents suffering from a variety of mental health disorders such as: behavioral issues, ADHD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, divorce, bullying, self-esteem, and basic adjustment disorders.

KELSI CURRAN, MSW, LSW
Kelsi Curran is an alumna of Marywood University, where she earned both a Bachelors degree and Masters Degree (MSW) in Social Work.
Kelsi has extensive experience in crisis and advocacy work and is skilled in providing counseling to children and adolescents. She works with children and adolescents suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. She uses play therapy, behavioral therapy and humanistic therapy in working with children, as well as including the family in the counseling process to provide the best possible treatment to the children and adolescents she works with.
Kelsi has extensive experience in crisis and advocacy work and works with adult survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. When working with adult clients, Kelsi uses an eclectic approach. She focuses on the empowering those she works with and meeting the client “where they are at”.
